Process
How it works — from link to payment
Build your list on PriceCharting and paste the collection link, or search titles one at a time and stack them into a batch. You'll see a cash offer instantly. Accept it and we send a prepaid USPS label. Once your box arrives we check the items in and pay by Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo.
The rest of this page is the full packing and shipping guide: choosing a box, wrapping your items, printing your label(s), dropping off, and what we pay per system.
The 6 steps from accepted offer to us receiving your batch
Accept your offer
Once your offer looks right, click the accept button on your batch. This locks in the estimate and tells us to prepare your prepaid shipping label and packing slip. You cannot edit the batch after accepting, so double-check quantities and conditions first.
Print your paperwork
After you accept, two documents are generated in your account:
- USPS prepaid label — attach this to the outside of the box. It is already addressed to MWGames.
- Packing slip — lists every item, condition, quantity, your return address, and the date. Print it and place it inside the box so we can match your shipment to the batch quickly.
Choose a sturdy box
Use a new or lightly used cardboard box strong enough to survive being stacked. A double-walled box is ideal for heavy loads like consoles, full-size systems, or collections of 30+ games. Avoid thin retail boxes, shoe boxes, or reused envelopes.
USPS Small/Medium Flat Rate box or a 10″×8″×6″ cardboard box.
Medium moving box, roughly 16″×12″×10″.
Large moving box, 18″×14″×12″ or bigger. Ship consoles separately if possible.
Wrap every item
Loose discs and cartridges should be placed in protective sleeves or small bubble-wrap pouches. Keep original cases and manuals together — a loose manual sliding around can crease pages. For complete-in-box games, wrap the case in a thin layer of bubble wrap.
- Discs: always store them in a case or sleeve; never tape discs to paper or stack them loose.
- Cartridges: wrap individually and avoid exposing the label side to direct tape or moisture.
- Consoles & handhelds: wrap in at least two layers of bubble wrap and place in the center of the box with padding on all six sides.
- Controllers & accessories: wrap cords separately to avoid scuffing, and pad analog sticks.
Seal and label the box
Tape every seam with packing tape, not regular Scotch tape. Reinforce the bottom flaps with an extra strip of tape. Then attach the printed USPS label flat on the largest smooth side of the box. Cover it completely with clear packing tape so it cannot be torn or blurred by rain.
Drop off and keep the receipt
Take the sealed package to any USPS location and hand it to the counter. Ask for a receipt that shows the tracking number. Keep that receipt until we receive the batch and your payment is sent. Then mark the batch as "shipped" in your account and enter the tracking number if you have not already.
Protection
What we are not liable for
Your responsibilities
- Pack securely so items do not shift, rub, or break in transit.
- Use the correct shipping address and a complete, scannable label.
- Keep your post office receipt and tracking number until payment is sent.
- Drop off within 3 business days of accepting the offer.
What we cannot cover
MWGames is not liable for packages or items lost or missing in the mail, packages sent to a wrong or incomplete shipping address, shipments returned to sender, or damage that happens in transit. Packing your items securely is your responsibility. If an item arrives damaged or missing its described components, we will re-quote it or apply a deduction rather than pay the original estimate.
Pricing
What we pay per system
We price against real demand instead of one flat rate — high-demand titles earn more, annual sports and filler titles earn less. USA copies get full tier pricing; PAL and Japanese imports are quoted at our import rate.

FAQ
Common shipping questions
Do I pay for shipping?
Shipping is free on accepted batches worth $50 or more. For batches under $50, the cost of the prepaid label is deducted from your final payout.
Can I use my own shipping label?
We recommend using our prepaid label so the package is correctly routed and insured through our account. If you must use your own, contact us first and make sure the package is insured to the full batch value.
What if I do not have a printer?
USPS counters can print prepaid labels for you in many locations, or you can save the PDF to a phone and have a local print shop or library print it. If you are stuck, message us and we will figure out the best option.
Should I ship consoles with games?
Whenever possible, ship consoles and heavy hardware in their own box with extra padding. Mixing heavy hardware with loose discs and cartridges can crush or scratch the smaller items.
What if the post office rejects the package?
Ask for the exact reason, take a photo of the package, and message us immediately. Common causes are under-taped seams, unreadable barcodes, or improper packaging materials.
How long does shipping take?
Most domestic USPS shipments arrive within 2–5 business days. You can track the package from your account or the USPS website, and we update the batch status once it reaches us.
